Introduction to Restorative Practices: How to Develop Relationships That Cultivate A Healthy Sense of Community in Homes, Early Childhood Programs, and Schools

During this interactive full-day session, participants will learn about the connections between bullying, school & family climate, and restorative practices.

Jo Ann Freiberg, Ph.D., is a life long educator focusing on the wide arena of Bullying, Improving School Climate, Restorative Practices and Character Education. She has worked as a classroom teacher and as a teacher educator, and has held faculty appointments at a number of universities, including Central Connecticut State University, Eastern Connecticut State University, the University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut. She has served on the statewide task force on bullying, and serves as an educational consultant in a variety of settings both in Connecticut and nationally.
