Foothills Adult Education Graduation at EdAdvance

Twenty-five graduates from EdAdvance’s Foothills Adult Education Programs were recognized at the June 11th ceremony held at EdAdvance’s headquarters in Litchfield. Seventeen Adult High School Credit and four National External Diploma Program diplomas were awarded by EdAdvance along with four GED® diplomas from the state of Connecticut. Dr. Jeffrey Kitching, Executive Director of EdAdvance and Dr. Susan Domanico, Regional Director of Foothills Adult Education, addressed the graduates along with student speaker Katerina Cardia of Winchester. Two recently naturalized U.S. citizens from the Citizenship classes, Ynes Garcia and Dario Milford, were also recognized at the ceremony.

EdAdvance’s Foothills Adult & Continuing Education is a state and locally funded program working in collaboration with 17 school districts to deliver free mandated classes and fee-for-service enrichment classes in 30 communities in western Connecticut.
