EdAdvance Head Start: Prenatal to Five Programs Celebrate Summer Reading

EdAdvance Head Start: Prenatal to Five Programs held end of the school year celebrations for families that included fun activities, summer-themed refreshments, and the distribution of complimentary books for summer reading courtesy of Reading is Fundamental (RIF).
Head Start: Prenatal to Five received a grant from Reading Is Fundamental to participate in Books for Ownership, RIF’s flagship reading program for the 2017-2018 school year. Books for Ownership enables children to select new, age-appropriate books for enjoyment at home to create a continuous focus on reading. The program provides choice and access to books on a variety of topics to promote more engaged readers and learners.
EdAdvance Head Start: Prenatal to Five Programs provide an array of services for children and their families, integrating early learning and kindergarten readiness, health, nutrition, social services resources, and parent engagement.
