BASES (Before and After School Extended Services) provides state-licensed, year-round programs for elementary and middle school age children. Onsite before and after school programs, as well as full-day Summer Adventure Programs, offer a variety of enriching and quality experiences.
Staff provide student-centered activities daily which include: enrichment activities, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), literacy activities, arts and crafts, sports, indoor/outdoor games, quiet time for working on homework. Nutritious snacks are provided.
Customized onsite professional development and technical assistance is offered to school districts and organizations.

BASES programs exist to provide a safe, healthy, worry-free environment for the child who cannot be at home with a parent. Our focus is to meet the developmental needs of each individual child through enriching and quality experiences that enhance self-esteem and promote success.
Vision Statement
BASES programs will strive to provide an enriching, licensed, twelve-month-a-year program for children of elementary and middle school age. The professional staff will work in close collaboration with school districts, parents, students, and EdAdvance staff to continually refine and improve their skills for delivering quality experiences for all children who participate in the program.

BASES (Before and After School Extended Services)
BASES provides services to 500+ students at 14 school-based sites, serving 25 schools in 9 Districts throughout western CT!
Our state licensed programs are conveniently located in local school buildings throughout western Connecticut. The programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of each individual child through successful, enriching, and quality experiences that enhance self-esteem.

Provides a safe, healthy, worry-free environment for elementary school students, before and/or after school. Parents have peace of mind knowing their child receives quality, enriching, affordable care.
CAP21 Program at Torrington Middle Schools
This Middle School Adventure Program provides a safe, organized, and enriching learning opportunities for middle school students to explore and interact with the world around them.
The Spring Into Discovery Program provides full or half day programming to K-8 students during the spring vacation break at our Litchfield campus. The program offers varied enrichment & STEAM activities.
Enrichment Services
Our enrichment services include an assortment of experiential learning programs for elementary and middle school students. Classes are typically held onsite at schools and include courses such as:

Summer Adventure
